Welcome to Hapton School

Student Corner

Everything a Hapton student needs in one place — timetables, clubs, houses, and daily routine.

The house system

Every student joins one of four houses in Class I and stays in it until they leave. Houses compete through the year in sports, arts, and quizzes.

Ashoka House

Red

Named for the emperor who chose peace over conquest.

Tagore House

Blue

For the poet who believed education should set the mind free.

Gandhi House

Green

For service, simplicity, and standing by what is right.

Kalam House

Yellow

For the teacher-scientist who told students to dream first.

Clubs and activities

Every student picks at least one club. Clubs meet during the last period twice a week.

Coding club

Scratch for juniors, Python for seniors. Meets Tuesday and Friday.

Eco club

Runs the school garden, waste segregation, and the annual tree drive.

Debate and literary club

Weekly debates, elocution practice, and the school magazine.

Arts club

Painting, classical dance, and preparation for Kalotsavam.

Sports teams

Football, volleyball, athletics, chess, and badminton squads.

Science club

  • Bring a signed note from a parent for any absence
  • Treat classmates, staff, and school property with care
  • Report bullying to any teacher — it will be acted on the same day
